ShazZam! Organizes Supplies for the BackPack Day

On Saturday evening, August 19, a group of families with children met in the Scott Building to have some pizza, hear a story read by Lynda Mansfield, and organize the school supplies to be packed the next day. Long tables were laid out with notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, binders, calculators, and gift cards so that the volunteers could pack the backpacks in an assembly-line fashion. The work was appreciated by the volunteers who came to pack the next day. A good time was had by all!
