Our Annual Calendar
In the course of a year, these are some of the events we typically host. We also provide a three- or four-week adult education class in the seasons of Advent and Lent.
January: Annual Meeting (this year by Zoom) and Luncheon (when permitted) — Presentation of the Book of Reports and Budget
March or April: Palm Sunday and Easter Services, Egg Dyeing Party and Egg hunt, Maundy Thursday Service. Building Chemo Care Kits for Kids at CHOP and DuPont hospitals.
April: the Anniversary of the founding of the church (held the closest Sunday to the 22nd). Activities vary.
May: Mother’s Day Service
Memorial Day: commemoration by the local Veterans group in our cemetery
June: Sunday School Appreciation Sunday, Father’s Day Service
June/July: Semi Annual Meeting and Luncheon — Oral reports from Boards and Committees
September: Rally Day Picnic and Entertainment to Kick-Off the Sunday School year
October: Harvest Fair Party
November: Thanksgiving Service
December: Advent and Christmas Eve Services, Cookies and Carols Fellowship, Christmas Family Dinner.
