The Baptist Church in the Great Valley Welcomes Rev. Rebecca Driscoll Mygatt as Our New Pastor

Rev. Rebecca Driscoll Mygatt will join The Baptist Church in the Great Valley as our new Pastor on April 1, 2025. She previously served as the Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Attleboro, Massachusetts, as the first American Baptist Women in Ministry intern with the Office of the General Secretary and as the American Baptist Minister for Creation Justice. With a passion for community engagement and relationship building, Pastor Rebecca has also worked as a park ranger on the Boston Harbor Islands, a housing advocate for the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, and a program coordinator for The Campus Kitchens Project at UMASS Boston. She believes deeply in the intersectionality of social justice ministries, and marvels in all the ways God’s creation teaches us how to live in community together.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys knitting and swing dancing. She is newly married (November 2024) to her husband, Rob, an A/V programmer who grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. Together, they enjoy hiking and playing board games.
