During the month of October, we held a drive to collect snacks for students at…
The Christmas Eve Family Service was enjoyed by the congregation, their families, and some very welcome guests. The readings were done by the youth of the church with the exception of one reading done by Rev. Rhonda Cushman. Her participation and that of Pastor David Cushman is so appreciated in the choir as well. There was special music by the choir and soloists and a bell solo by our own handbell star, Michelle Finisdore. The children gathered to sing “Away in a Manger” just before the lights began to dim for the singing of several carols and “Silent Night” by candlelight. Thanks to Charlie Confer, our organist and music director and to Lynda Mansfield and her team who decorated the sanctuary, and to those who read or sang. May we always welcome the Christ child with open hearts.
