BCS YES! LogoBCS YES! (Baptist Children's Services - Youth Empowered to Succeed!) is a human services agency licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide emergency shelter and long-term residential care to adjudicated at-risk youth eleven to eighteen years of age. The Agency qualifies under the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, non-sectarian organization governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, which meets regularly.

BCS YES! operates two (2) emergency shelters and five (5) group homes in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties with a total capacity of 87 beds.

BCS YES! provides a home for about 500 youths annually - about 150 in longer-term group homes and about 350 in shorter-term emergency shelters.

What BCGV does

BCGV actively supports BCS - YES! by (a) receiving an annual free-will offering to support the agency; (b) Sending periodic gifts from its Deacons' Fellowship Fund; (c) Supporting periodic collections of gifts, clothing, toys and other items needed by BCS - YES' youth; and (d) Service by two BCGV members on the Board of Directors.

In December 2011, $1000 was collected and given to BCS-YES! so that the young people in care were able to purchase Christmas gifts.

You can support BCS - YES! with your gifts, checks or tangible items mailed to BCS - YES! at P.O. Box 851, Valley Forge, PA 19482, or to 588 North Gulph Road, King of Prussia, second floor.  You can also spread the word about its great work to your friends and neighbors, or volunteer to be part of BCS - YES' volunteer programs in group projects, life skills or mentoring by calling coordinator Nancy Guthridge at 610-879-1440, ext.116.
