Sunday School Begins in Worship

Children begin by attending the first part of worship with their families at 10:30am in the sanctuary. During the second hymn, the children are invited to accompany their teachers to the Scott Building where they divide into age-appropriate groups for a lesson. Our current curriculum concerns the "Gifts of the Spirit." The children and teachers return to the sanctuary in time for the benediction and social time following the service.

We love babies! Infant and toddler care is available by coming to the sanctuary with the infant or toddler. A Deacon greeter will inform the Childcare attendant of the need for their assistance. If you know in advance that you will be attending worship and willl be bringing an infant or toddler, please call the church office at (610) 688-5445 or Cheri Christakis at (610) 644-8850 to make arrangements. We are more than happy to provide the care but as the need is infrequent, we do not have someone wait in the Scott Building.

New Features

Family Friendly Balcony – A joint effort of the Boards of Trustees, Deacons and Christian Education has created an optional  “safe” space for parents and children to share in our worship service.  We believe this may be a welcoming place for someone wishing to nurse an infant or take a fidgeting child to move more freely at any time during a service.  We love families to join us for worship wherever they feel most comfortable in our Meeting House.

Note:  All those who work with our children have the necessary clearances and certifications as required by Pennsylvania law.
